New Header
I'm no Dooce, so don't expect this monthly (ok, maybe), but I do love me some Picnik. I don't know what it is about the focal effects, but I really like them. I also really love pictures of flowers. Here is the original photo. Taken this weekend, at the Dragon Festival.

Pretty! I love Picnik, too.
The flower is, if I found it correctly, Butterfly Weed. It is native to Minnesota, a relative of milkweed (which is one of my favorites) and attracts Monarch's. I can't remember seeing it until recently, but there has been a push to bring back native plants in the past 5 to 10 years.
