30 Day Shred, level 1, weights for most of it, up to 5 lbs. Need to get the 7 lb weights.

I'm soft, squishy, I need to get back to every damn day.

I ate chocolate today, swore I wouldn't, did it anyway. Damn you chocolate.

This hurts, it sucks, I want it to feel as easy as it did this summer.

Something is missing, I'm filling in holes with food again. Have to figure this out, or else.

I am wondering if you are beating yourself up too much. How much chocolate did you eat? A whole bar or two? Or, just a couple pieces? If it was the whole bar, sorry to drudge it up again.

You are doing so well, give yourself some time to rest and your mind and body will be back up to it again.

Today is a new day and you get a fresh start. Exercise is always harder in the winter. You can do it! The Internet has faith in you!

I like the way you put that - filling in the holes with food. It seems like I'm always struggling with that. Fortunately I've managed to hang on so far.

But you're right, it did seem easier over the summer. I don't know if it's that I've been doing it for a while, that the weather is changing, or just the holidays. Things started getting hard around Halloween, so maybe it's the temptations around.

things are harder in the winter because we have so much less access to fresh food, and so much less access to sunlight. we need sunlight to feel like it's a productive hour in the day that we can work out in (that 8pm walk just doesn't work in November), and being able to just pick veggies from the backyard makes eating healthy easy and tasty.

It gets tough for me when we are off work for the holidays and my normal routine is messed up. I'm fighting the urge to fill holes with food right now too. I've started knitting for a few minutes when I feel the urge to snack. Can't really tell if its helping yet.
