Not sure I have the winning shot yet, but I at least got ones that would work.
I swear, as she gets older, it gets more complicated. It was easier when she just sat there. Now I have to wrangle her, and the dog, and neither one of them listens unless you dangle a cookie in front of them.

Well, her outfit is adorable, and the sock monkey looks cute too! :)
I've given up on the perfect shot, and now include a photo montage of the year instead. I got tired of banging my head on the brick wall of "getting the shot." :)
(Have to say, the sock monkey is adorable.)
Oh, argh, I KNOW! Now I've got TWO to get "the shot." Can't wait until my digital is back so I can get it done and ordered and off the to-do list!
I see nothing wrong with that tactic. If you dangle a cookie in front of me, I'll let you take my picture. :)
*takes the cookie and runs away*
Cute pictures, and I second the photo montage idea. You already have such cute ones to use!

I hear you on the challenge of photographing toddlers. They will never cooperate with me, and even a cookie is ignored!
Happy ICLW. :-)
I love that first one. Classic and oh, so sweet!
What adorable pictures. I love the pop of red in the first-- so fun. Great blog, so glad I stumbled upon it via ICLW. Have a great week!
I agree - it's way easier with the younger crowd - this was my toughest year yet with H being four - ugh.
At this point, I might just send out a card with only her brother on it...he's not quite three but has so much fun taking pics with me...
She's got her hand in front of her face every time - and don't get me started on including the dog!
ARGH!
::Sigh:: oh well - there are bigger battles to fight - I think?
Great hair! Great photos. I especially like the B&W shot. Happy IComLeavWe blogging to you in the days ahead.
I'm going to be attempting my first Christmas card picture of my daughter Tillie this year. I've been waiting until she can sit on her own, but I may have to take it before she figures that out.
Good luck with getting the perfect shot!
Adorable. I'm a fan of the first shot, the little red bow is lovely.
