Lie to me and tell me... (Shredding update)

... that it looks like I've made progress. I feel like the photos don't show anything (or them being taken from farther away is fooling), after all it is only two pounds. Less than one percent of my body weight. That isn't that much really. I feel stronger, I feel better. I feel like I should have bought those pants a size smaller after all. Things that I've been wearing all long, like my PJ's, feel big, baggy. But I don't know. I'm at that point where in my life before, I would have quit now. I still did it tonight, even after seeing the pictures, so that must say something.

It's so hard to see changes this early on for many of us. It's why I didn't post pics of me yet, because while I'm measuring smaller, you can't see it.

But looking at these pictures, I can see changes in your upper arms! They look slightly smaller and firmer.

Definitely progress. I did the shred for a month and a half and didn't lose an ounce, but my clothes did fit better.

Progress is progress, whether it's one pound or two pounds or twenty. You're doing great! Keep it up!

I consider any weight loss to be good, although after giving up chocolate and everything that tastes good for 2 weeks of salad, having the Wii Fit board tell you you've lost 4/10 of a point can bring on slight hysteria. Hopefully, weight watchers points will be little more conducive to my sanity:)I will be cheering you on from NJ!
